TIDA-01579高效低波紋輸出電源參考設計

Theinternalreferenceallowstoregulatetheoutputvoltagedownto0.6Vwithahighfeedbackvoltageaccuracyof1%overthejuncTIontemperaturerangeof-40℃to125℃。The1,2,3Ascalablepin-to-pinandBOM-to-BOMcompaTIbledevicefamilycanbeusedwithsmall470nHinductors.
TheTpS6282xincludeanautomaticallyenteredpowersavemodetomaintainhighefficiencydowntoverylightloads.

Thepoint-of-loadpower-treeonvideosurveillancesystemsisoptimizedwiththisreferencedesign.Thisreferencedesignhasahighperformanceonkeyparameterssuchasoutputvoltageaccuracy,voltageripple,andthermaldissipation.ThishighperformanceispossiblewithasmallboardareaandlowBOMcost.
Thedesignoperatesfroma5-Vsupplycommonlyfoundinvideodoorbells,Ipnetworkcameras,andwirelesscameras.
Videodoorbellsprovideasetoffeaturescommontomanytraditionalvideosurveillancedevices.Thisdistinguishingfeaturedemandsauniquepowerdesigntoensuretrouble-freeoperationfromtheubiquitous,butwidely-varying,ACdoorbellsupply.TofullyutilizeanACsourcethatpresentsasubstantialbottleneck,thepowerdesignshouldbeasefficientaspossible.ThisdesignusesTI’snewsynchronousbuckconvertersandLDOsprovidingacompleteandcustomizablesupplyoptimizedforvideodoorbells.
OurnewestconvertersinQFNandSOT-563packagesallowforasupplydesignthatrequiresminimalboardspaceandhasalowthermalimpact—bothofwhichareneededforsmallerformfactorelectronics.Forbettercompatibility,sequencingispossibleforallrails.
Ipnetworkcamerashaveincreasingimageresolution,processing,andilluminationrequirementswhilestillfittinginsmallenclosures.Aftersteppingdownfromamid-tohigh-voltageDCpowersourcesuchaspluginpowerorpoE,thesystemdemandspoint-of-loadconversionwithhighefficiencyandasmallfootprint.
Bothefficiencyandfootprintareimportanttoaccommodatesmallenclosureswith,typically,less-thanadequateventilation.Thisdesignisoptimizedforbothefficiencyandfootprintwhilealsoprovidingtheflexibilitytotailortomoreadvanced,power-demandingloads,suchasadedicatedimagerecognitionprocessoror4Kvideoprocessor.
Wirelessorbattery-poweredcamerasrequirehighefficiencyatbothfullloadsandlightloads.Thesecamerastypicallyemploymotiondetection,humaninterface,orwirelesscommunicationsmonitoring,oranycombinationofthethree,tominimizetimespentinpower-hungrystatesquiescentcurrentsandshutdowncurrentsofsubsystemsareveryimportantasthesestandbycurrentscanhavesignificantimpactonoverallbatterylife.TheTIDA-01579referencedesignhasbeenoptimizedforthisapplicationbyutilizingTI’slow-powerconvertersfeaturingbothlightloadefficiencyandshutdownwithlowIq.Convertershutdownandlow-Iqloadswitchescanbeusedtocutpowertosubsystemswithless-than-desirablestandbyconsumption—savingcostandextendingbatterylife.
